Converge Philippines is a ministry partnership between the Baptist General Conference, now known in the US and around the world as Converge Worldwide and the Baptist Conference of the Philippines Inc. We are known around the world as network of devoted followers of Christ who connect people to God and to one another, ignite missions and ministries with the power of the Holy Spirit and engage in individual and social transformational ministries through the power of the gospel.

VISION:

Develop a sustainable and expanding national movement of reproducing healthy churches, leaders and disciples for holistic individual and community transformation in the Philippines and beyond.

Develop and support exceptionally equipped church planters and leaders who are fully engaged in starting and reproducing healthy churches.
Enhance strategic ministry partnerships for Converge Worldwide/BGC church multiplication and mobilization movement in the Philippines and beyond.
Implement proven reproducible church planting systems and strategies.
Decade of Change – a paradigm shift of Converge Worldwide/BGC/PM rules of engagement based on a shared vision.

KEY STANDARDS:

The following standards define the boundaries of our mission and the essentials to achieve our vision:

Spiritual Vitality. We lean on spiritual empowerment for our growth - Scripture and prayer are built into all we do.
Multiplication and Mobilization. We seek church planters and leaders who are committed to mobilizing and multiplying churches locally and participating in regional and global movements.
Assessment. We recruit workers whose call, giftedness, character, and preparation for ministry have been objectively assessed.
Equipping. We arrange training events that equip leaders with up-to-date information and current strategies for effective ministries. We provide state-of-the-art resources to assist leaders in making a kingdom impact in their communities.
Coaching. We ensure that every planter has a trained coach/mentor order to help church planters and leaders succeed through sharing spiritual guidance, emotional support and ministry skill development.
Capacity. We seek to plant churches with the capacity to support our growing movement and assist each leader with his personal support.
